Leadership Roles for Children

Our children are encouraged to take on a variety of leadership roles within school, giving them the chance to take responsibility and make a positive contribution to our school community. These roles help to build confidence, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, and foster a genuine sense of pride and ownership in school life. Leadership opportunities begin in Year 2, when children are invited to take part in the School Council, and expand as they move through Key Stage 2 to include roles such as Canteen Helpers, Wellbeing Warriors, and Eco Club, and Reading Leaders to name a few.
